About residential DC freezer
1. Limited storage space
Residential freezers are specially designed for personal and ordinary families to use at home. They are smaller and more compact. They are usually designed as upper attachments or lower drawers of household refrigerators. Since the shell is divided into cooling and freezing units, the actual refrigerator is small and can only provide limited storage space. Even with door shelves and storage rooms, residential freezers pose a risk of food safety issues because the cooling temperature of these shelves is different from the internal temperature.
2. Fragile appearance
Compared with commercial freezers, domestic freezers are also usually made of fragile or weak materials. These are more susceptible to wear and tear due to frequent opening and closing of doors and rapid turnover of items stored and removed in commercial kitchens.
3. Uneven cooling
Domestic refrigerators are powered by weaker compressors and insulating materials, which can cause heat loss and temperature fluctuations-both of which can cause food safety hazards. Even with thermostats installed, they are usually not accurate because they show a single temperature reading even if the shelf and door room temperatures are different.
